Most 850 Roadsters, MkIII Roadsters and customs
(including a VR880 Sprint Special and a John Player Special)
clustered between roughly $11,500 and $12,650, with a 1974
Commando 850 at $12,100. Ridergrade Commandos and
HiRiders generally brought $4,6753$9,900, depending on
speci昀cation and presentation. P11 and P11A Rangers were
in the highsingle to low昀ve昀gure range ($9,3503$9,900).
" Featherbed twins & singles:
Dominator 99s, 650SS and Atlas 750s mostly made
$3,3003$8,800, with ES2 singles around $5,5003$8,250.
Electras spanned $2,7503$5,500, re昀ecting both usable
examples and more basic projects.
All in all, the trip was fantastic and worth it just to wander
among nearly 2,000 classic and collector motorcycles
gathered in one place. This was by far the largest motorcycle
show I9ve ever attended, and probably the most impressive.
We might have caught the Mecum bug and are already
hoping to come back next year.
