deciding to invite a few more to share it. It has been
through many changes, just as Daytona Bike Week itself has
changed.
Bike Week had nearly two decades of great racing when
the Americans went over to Europe and took over what is now
MotoGP. Every year, MotoGP stars came over to race the
Daytona 2004a race everyone wanted on their résumé.
Roberts, Rainey, Schwantz, and Spencer are just a few of the
big names who came and won. When one of those guys didn9t
win, some interesting local riders did. Dale Singleton, a pig
farmer from North Georgia, won it twice and made headlines
by bringing a pig into the winner9s circle each time he won.
A hometown boy from Atlanta, Scott Russell, won it 昀ve
times and earned the nickname
