Dear Bill,
I really appreciated hearing from you last week . . . I
had your name on a list of things to do, people to call,
but I was no where near that far down the list yet. This
week got a lot of things accomplished so I9m not
feeling too guilty at all.
When we talked, I wasn9t even thinking about Pete9s
N/N deadline (today!) so last night I wrote my Kickstart and
mentioned your La Carrera win with a teaser that you had
agreed to write about the race and your winning
Commando for the next N/N. It9s de昀nitely not tooting your
own horn (at least, in a not in a sel昀sh or unproductive way)
when so many members are looking for a little proof that
the marque is not just a memory. Their hopes are riding
alongside of you every time you run a race. (Besides, I9m
tired of only hearing about the bloody Yellow Peril!)
I hope you like the trophy. If I could build trophies as well
as you build cafe9s . . . I9d be building cafe9s!!

decent time before the next deadline.
